Itinerary from the Pantheon to Piazza di Spagna
This itinerary crosses the historic center of Rome, leading the visitor from the Pantheon to the Spanish Steps and beyond.
First, we reach Piazza di Pietra, where the imposing columns of the Temple of Hadrian appear magnificently incorporated into a 17th-century building. From here, we reach Palazzo Montecitorio, home to the Chamber of Deputies since 1871. A few steps separate the visitor from Piazza Colonna, dominated by the Column of Marcus Aurelius: a triumphal monument almost 42 meters high, erected between 176 and 192 AD to celebrate the emperor's victories over the Germanic peoples.
Directly opposite the square, overlooking Via del Corso, is the Galleria Alberto Sordi, an elegant shopping arcade and a jewel of Art Nouveau style.
The final stop is Piazza di Spagna, one of the most beautiful corners of Rome. Spectacular and world-famous, the symbol of Roman luxury and elegance with its monumental Spanish Steps. You can continue along the historic Via del Babuino until you reach the magnificent Piazza del Popolo.
